Course Objectives This course will help students develop their knowledge of international business environments and develop skills to analyze strategies of multinational firms in the global economy.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to discuss the value chain activities and the interactions of value chain management in the global economy.
  • will be able to interpret the international business environment with respect to the sociocultural and economic factors affecting business operations.
  • will be able to explain the international monetary system and financial markets and foreign exchange risks.
  • will be able to develop skills to analyze tariff and notariff in international trade and the role of governments in regulation flow of goods, capital and technology.
  • will be able to develop strategies to conduct successful international trade activities by analyzing the theory of international trade and investment and the global environment.
Course Description This course will examine the functions that are necessary to ensure international trade such as international planning, staffing, coordinating, and controlling resources in the international environment. It also concentrates on valuechain activities and brings together strategic management issues that must be addressed to ensure competitive performance.
