Students who are entitled to participate in the Valencia trip to be held in March as a part of the “Entrepreneurship Project Strengthened by EU Connections” co-coordinated by Finance Managers Association of Turkey–Finance Club and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs in Valencia (AJEV) have been picked by a draw carried out by the academicians of International Trade and Finance Department.
Şehnaz Koçak, one of the founders of Ephesus Orient Abroad Education and Consultancy Services, came together with the Business School students and shared her experiences on abroad education and life. Koçak emphasized the advantages that an abroad experience provides, and gave detailed information about the qualifications that various countries, particularly Canada, look for in the candidates for language schools, certificate programs, undergraduate and graduate educations.

The article titled “Performance comparison of Islamic (participation) banks and commercial banks in Turkish banking sector” authored by our faculty member, Prof. Dr. Hasan F. Baklacı and Asst. Prof. Dr. Berna Aydoğan was published in EuroMed Journal of Business, Volume 9, Issue 2 in 2014. This article was chosen as the Highly Recommended Paper by the Editorial team of the journal for 2014.
