Prof. Dr. C. Coşkun Küçüközmen said 'İzmir should be a Fintech Center'

One of the professors of our department, Prof. Dr. C. Coşkun Küçüközmen, in his interview with the 9 Eylül Newspaper, evaluated that İzmir has the potential to be a center for the commercial transactions that financial companies carry out over the internet with the technological devices called Fintech. Stating that İzmir has qualified human resources, innovation centers and technological infrastructure, Prof. Dr. Coşkun Küçüközmen stated that the city could become a center in the field of Fintech, and underlined that with digitalization, places have gradually lost their importance and that every employee who is well-educated and uses technology efficiently has started to transform all environments with internet into offices. Underlining that the important thing is the computer, server, internet and the human power who knows how to use them and can do the operations, Prof. Dr. Coşkun Küçüközmen stated that İzmir stands out as the technological center of finance, namely the Fintech center, with all the advantages it has.
